LEV Engineering recently installed 2 vehicle exhaust extraction systems for a motorcycle company in the midlands. The two systems consisted of purpose made capture hoods that are sited adjacent to the motorcycle exhaust pipe to capture the gases. Two Plymovent centrifugal fans were housed in an acoustic box and the fan exhaust ductwork vented outside to atmosphere. The system has an air flow indicator so the operators can visually see the system is working and removing the contaminated air.
